The Boring Company doesn't get as much attention as SpaceX or Tesla, but it is also hampered by something that SpaceX and Tesla don't have to concern themselves with: building codes. Infrastructure projects have a lot more red tape than other projects, including environmental impact studies and other issues that can generally slow down the development of any given project, so it isn't surprising that The Boring Company might not be as active as Musk's other companies.
So far, the only commercial contract that The Boring Company has signed is with the city of Las Vegas, Nevada for a people mover underneath the Las Vegas Convention Center in anticipation of the Consumer Electronics Show 2021.
